A base cream serves as a foundation in formulating body lotion, body cream and since it serves as a foundation it is usually unscented and also does not contain whitening additives. Base creams are usually very thick hence why it is easier to dilute any whitening formulation into it without it flopping or being too loosed that it cannot be used on the skin.

120 ml of distilled water

12 g of emulsifying wax (nf)
